Breaking News- Grand Isle County President Sara Griswold named to national Young Farmer & Rancher Board

While attending the National Resolutions Meeting in Washington D.C., President Tisbert was notified that Sara Griswold was named to the National Young Farmers and Rancher’s Board. Sara has been serving as the President of Grand Isle County Farm Bureau and as our Young Farmer and Rancher Chair. Her work includes amazing fundraising opportunities such as scoop-a-thon and helping revitalize the 4H Organization in the islands. As part of the application process the work she has done for both Farm Bureau and her local educational supervisory union were highlighted as reasons for her selection to the national board. Sara will be joining the Farm Bureau team in Atlanta, Georgia to meet with her colleagues and prepare for how she will support the youth of agriculture in the United States. We at Farm Bureau are incredibly proud of Sara and cannot wait to see what amazing ideas she will bring to the national stage. Congratulations Sara and keep up the amazing work!
