Rutland County Annual Meeting Sept 30th at the American legion in Castleton 7:00 happy hour and 7:30 meal

             Our regular business meeting includes election of officers and proposal of resolutions.  These resolutions are brought to the state annual meeting where delegates work out the written Farm Bureau policy. The Vermont Farm Bureau policy serves as the guideline under which our collective grassroots voice is heard in legislature.

               Farm Bureau’s primary goal is to be a voice for all farmers, raising awareness for a broad range of issues facing agriculture.  The county annual meeting is an opportunity for that to happen.

               The state annual meeting will be held at the Holiday Inn in Rutland, November 6 and 7, 2009.
